On the North Shore of Oahu, nestled in a verdant valley, is the Waimea Botanical Garden. As I explored, I felt like I had entered a pre-historic, jurassic landscape. Plants, leaves and trees were oversized and flourishing. The river was flowing and the birds were in heavenly flight. The intersection of these leaves became a soft, graphic study of lines, curves and multi-toned shadows.
