Time spent in the Southwest has opened my eyes not only to the striking landscapes, but also the deeply rooted, historical Native American culture and art. After exploring these landscapes with my camera, I started playing, by repeating and mirroring the images, and was intrigued as geometric symbols and symmetrical shapes formed where the images intersected. My photo created "reflections", not unlike those found in various forms of Native American art, pottery, rugs and basketry, have reinforced a connection and belief that if you are open to the idea, Spirits exist in our natural world.
